The Royal Commission will hold a public hearing in Sydney commencing Monday 11 July 2016 at 10.00am AEST.
The scope and purpose of the public hearing is to inquire into:
- 
The experiences of a woman who was sexually abused as a child at Mater Dei School located in Camden, NSW. 
- 
The response of Mater Dei School and the Congregation of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan of the Order of Saint Benedict to those allegations of child sexual abuse. 
- 
The experiences of women who were sexually abused as children while in the care of the Gold Coast Family Support Group (now FSG Australia). 
- 
The response of the Gold Coast Family Support Group to those allegations of child sexual abuse. 
- 
The experience of a man who was sexually abused as a child while in the care of The Disability Trust. 
- 
The response of The Disability Trust and Interchange Shoalhaven to those allegations of child sexual abuse. 
- 
Current systems, policies, procedures and practices for preventing, receiving, investigating and responding to allegations of child sexual abuse within institutions providing services to children with disability. 
- 
The NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, in relation to preventing and responding to allegations of child sexual abuse. 
- 
Any related matters.
