Consultation papers
The Royal Commission released five consultation papers on topics related to our work. This provided organisations and individuals with the opportunity to contribute to our consideration of systemic issues. Issues included criminal justice, records and record keeping practices, complaint handling and response and redress and civil litigation.
Our policy processes were strengthened by the high number of detailed submissions to these papers. We received over 1,000 submissions, the majority of which were published on the Royal Commission website.
